Owner and principal Linda Stephen has more than 15 years of public relations experience on five continents for book and magazine publishers, multinational corporations, Fortune 500s, authors, conferences, artists, manufacturers, United Nations agencies, and local and national nonprofits.
She is a strategic planner with an eye for detail and the flexibility to capture new possibilities. A former teacher, coach and manufacturing manager, Stephen communicates clearly and effectively with team members and external audiences.
Her media relations work has garnered thousands of positive features for her clients in top media such as The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Time, The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, CNN, NPR, BBC, NHK, and The New York Times.
She presents workshops in Lincoln and around the country on publicity tips for entrepreneurs, artists, illustrators and authors.
Linda is fluent in Japanese and holds an M.A. in international journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. A former university cross-country running team captain with a 2nd degree black belt in the martial art Shorinji Kempo, Linda is willing to go the distance for her clients.

Linda is an active community leader in Lincoln, Nebraska, volunteering more than 300 hours a year to local nonprofits. Her current service includes Scouts BSA Troop 25 board member, merit badge counselor and Salt Valley District Roundtable representative, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska artVenture volunteer artist, Lincoln 55 Plus book reviewer, Lincoln Arts Council volunteer, SCBWI presenter and more. Past service includes the Seniors Foundation Board of Directors (Keystone Award event committee and marketing committee), Lincoln Artists Guild board (publicity chair), Lincoln Public Schools (writing tutor, artist in residence, PTO, Gifted rep), Mayor's Environmental Task Force (transportation committee), and National Parks Service artist (Homestead National Park, U.S. Botanical Gardens).
A nationally award-winning paper artist with artworks in public and private collections around the world, Linda presents workshops across the country on Japanese paper arts, origami (paper folding) and design thinking. In 2020, Handersen Publishing published her origami picture book The Day We Went to the Park, which won the Illustration Honor from the 2021 Nebraska Book Awards.
